Job Description
Generous Forest Services (Genfor) provides forest engineering consulting services to coastal British Columbia. Genfor clients include private land‐owners, major licensees, First Nations and government agencies. We are currently looking for experienced Senior Forest Engineers to join our teams across Vancouver Island. Responsibilities:

Ensure that all work is performed safely. - Participate in or lead forest development projects.

Manage resources to meet client needs.

Supervise and lead assistant forest engineers.
Qualifications

Post‐secondary education in forestry or resource management.

Registered (or eligible) with the Association of BC Forest Professionals.

Minimum 7 years of forest planning experience.

Strong working knowledge of forest engineering and timber development, including cutting permit and road permit preparation.

Experience with ArcGIS, GPS technology, RoadEng, and MS Office.

A valid BC driver’s license.

Excellent written and verbal communicator.

Must be a self‐motivator that is well organized.
